Hi there, I’m Sara.
I like to get people together in the same space to collaborate (and listen).
Before my time at the Libraries, I was a staff writer and sometimes photographer for the Temple Liberal Arts marketing and communications team. You can find that writing, along with a few other projects, under work.
I earned my PhD in English literature in 2017. My dissertation traces the influence of literary naturalism through the work of Samuel Beckett, Jean Rhys, George Orwell, and Virginia Woolf. I argue that in the late-1930s, these writers used the form to refresh modernism and reveal hegemony in the scientific discourse of their day.
I’m from the Poconos and now live in South Philadelphia with my husband and my cat.
