Hi there, I’m Sara.

I’m a writer and editor—also a birder and a hiker. I like navigating difficult terrain, intellectually and physically, and helping others do so, too.

I earned my PhD in English literature in 2017 and now work as a fundraising writer for Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. I also contribute to World Wildlife magazine. You can find samples and read more about my career journey on this site, or visit my LinkedIn.
