Hi there, I’m Sara.

I’m a writer and editor—also a birder and a hiker. I like navigating difficult terrain, intellectually and physically, and helping others do so, too.

I earned my PhD in English literature in 2017. My dissertation traces the influence of literary naturalism through the late modernist work of Samuel Beckett, Jean Rhys, George Orwell, and Virginia Woolf.
