“Very strange at times.”
This is how Marilyn Silberfein describes her experience transitioning to life as an undergraduate after a long teaching career. Silberfein, emerita geography and urban studies professor, received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Connecticut and her master’s and PhD from Syracuse University. But in May, she added an associate’s degree in horticulture to the list.
